Kris Holzmeyer has been a pastor and Christian leader for nearly 10 years.

A native of Southwestern Indiana, Kris, his wife Missy, and their 5-year-old son Kyle Reagan reside in Anderson County (Clinton, TN). “I was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana,” says Kris. “Southern Indiana is a great place to raise a family. It was there that my parents instilled in me the spiritual, moral, and ethical principles I live by today.”

Mr. Holzmeyer graduated from the University of Southern Indiana where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications. He later earned his Master’s degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also a graduate of the Hoosier Congressional Policy Leadership Series - a conservative political program of the Indiana Family Institute.

Kris has served at three Southern Baptist churches during his ministry and worked for Dr. D. James Kennedy at The Center for Christian Statesmanship in Washington, D.C.  “Working at CCS was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life,” Kris says. “The Center provided me with an opportunity to see what Capitol Hill life is all about while at the same time helping to promote Christian statesmanship among Members of Congress and their staff.”

The Holzmeyer's are the founders of the Kyle Reagan Foundation - a fundraising ministry that helps childless couples pay for expenses relating to international adoption.

Kris is the author of "The First Responder Field Manual," - a devotional for first responders and emergency personnel.  "Because so many of my family and friends are fire fighters or law enforcement personnel, I see up close just how difficult those careers can be. I wanted to find a way to reach out and minister to the needs of these brave individuals."

Kris serves as Associate Pastor of Families and Discipleship at Second Baptist Church in Clinton. “Of all the ministry and leadership opportunities God has placed me in, I have to say that serving at Second Baptist has been the most fruitful and enjoyable of all. Nothing is more exciting than being a part of a congregation exploding in growth and willing to serve Christ in whatever way He calls.”

Kris is an avid college and high school basketball fan and his family loves living in East Tennessee.
