We just returned from a wonderful Christmas break in Indiana.  It's always refreshing to spend time with family and friends.

Dad and I had the opportunity to drive up to Bloomington and watch the Indiana Hoosiers play.  I hadn't been there since 2006.  Can't wait to take Kyle there to see a game some day.

Now, it's time to take a few days to relax before 2010 begins.  Lots of plans on the agenda for ministry.  It will be a busy year.

We just had our first night of practice for Upward basketball.  It's gonna be a big thing.  Nearly 300 kids involved.  Almost 100 more than we ever thought would sign up.  Very thankful for all the people who came in at the last minute to help fill coaching vacancies.

Had an awesome All Pro Dad Dinner tonight with my friend Jim Crews.  He did a great job speaking to dad's about the importance of fatherhood and having Godly dad's in the home.  We had over 50 people in attendance.  Thanks for coming!

Just got word that we have booked former NASCAR Chaplain, Dale Beaver to do our Second Baptist Marriage Retreat in April.  He does a great job ministering to couples and is great speaker.  It will be an enjoyable and refreshing time for all who attend.

Congratulations to my friend Jody Wright.  Jody coaches the Fulton High Falcons in Knoxville and just won his 500th career high school basketball victory.  What an accomplishment!
